The Medicinal and Aromatic Plants "R&D - Industry" Ecosystem Meeting held at Boğaziçi University Kandilli Campus was completed with great success. We participated in the event hosted by Boğaziçi Lifesci, organized by bio-X and Bioexpo, and with the project support of Redis Innovation and Eres Biotechnology as KÜAD.

As KÜAD, we participated in the TOBB Turkey Cosmetics and Cleaning Products Industry Council meeting at the TOBB Istanbul Service Building on June 26, 2024.

As KÜAD, we took our place at the Beauty Eurasia fair.

The SDA Smart and Digital Agriculture Project International Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Congress, which is carried out by the Eskişehir Provincial Directorate of National Education and supported by the European Union Education and Youth Programs Center Presidency, of which we are a partner as KÜAD, was held in the Yunus Emre Hall of the Anadolu University Student Center. While many sector representatives attended the congress, representatives and researchers of cosmetic companies that are members of the Cosmetics Manufacturers and Researchers Association (KÜAD) met with visitors at the stands they opened in the foyer area.

We participated in the WORLDEF event held on June 6-8, 2024 as "Küad Pavilion". We had a very productive and enjoyable event 🤗 We would like to thank everyone who showed interest in our stand.

KÜAD Board Member Bülent Konca attended the Chemical Industry Platform Board of Directors meeting.

We organized the last of the trainings held under the roof of KÜAD ACADEMY today with the participation of Mr. Avni Dilber, General Manager of Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkey and the participation of 250+ sector representatives. We would like to thank our trainers and all participants for their great interest.

As the Cosmetics Manufacturers and Researchers Association, we have made new training plans in addition to the monthly sectoral trainings organized under the roof of KÜAD ACADEMY. "Responsible Technical Personnel Training in the Cosmetics Sector" was organized for the FIRST TIME IN THE SECTOR by the KÜAD Legislation and Legal Processes Commission on April 29-30 in Istanbul. Participants came together to gain knowledge and skills about the cosmetics law, regulation, GMP, production method, ÜTS (Product Tracking System), product claims, product analyses, mandatory information to be included on the label, product information file, product safety file and inspections required for the responsibilities of the responsible person and the responsible technical personnel. We would like to thank our trainers: Şule Küçükoğlu, Belgin Sile, MSc Burak Ayan, Mehtap ARSLAN AYDIN, M.Sc., Zeynep EROL, Tuğba Sekban Yılmaz and all participants who showed great interest.

We are in Brussels for the last meeting of the first EU project that KÜAD was involved in. In addition to our country, this project was carried out with important institutions and organizations of 4 countries including Belgium, Spain and Bulgaria and was financed with Erasmus+ funds. The project outputs will be put into use with the congress to be held in Eskişehir on June 10th hosted by Anadolu University with the participation of all project partners. In summary, the project was addressed to make smart agricultural applications. Mobile tools such as distillation of cosmetic plants such as lavender with VR glasses experience and control of greenhouse areas were developed during the project process. In addition to these tools, this multinational project, which is carried out with educational materials, aims to find ways to use fewer resources and create more effective resources for the future of the world.

As the Cosmetics Manufacturers and Researchers Association, we held the 3rd Board of Directors Meeting of 2024 on Friday, March 29, hosted by Ekokimya in Istanbul.

As the KÜAD Board of Directors, we visited Mr. Adil Pelister, the President of İKMİB, in his office. We shared our strategic assessments for the activities of our association and the sector. We received Mr. Adil’s sectoral predictions and suggestions and exchanged ideas on KÜAD-İKMİB collaborations. We would like to thank him for hosting us.

As KÜAD, we attended the İKMİB Export Stars Award Ceremony. We congratulate our award-winning members and wish them continued success.
